This notice covers the Atmosphere public website and pricing calculators. It does not cover customer accounts, customer energy data or the separate Atmosphere application.
Who operates the website

Browsing and technical information
Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts the website through Amplify in London and a content delivery network. Hosting services process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and paths, to deliver and secure the website. The content delivery network serves requests globally. Website error logs exclude form contents, verification tokens and credentials.
We use technical information for the legitimate interests of providing a reliable website and preventing abuse. Website application logs have a 30-day retention setting. AWS processor and international transfer arrangements must be verified by the operator. Browsing does not require an account.
Pricing calculators and downloads
Calculate sends the device counts, collection settings, selected activities and public price identifiers to our public pricing service through this website. It does not send names, email addresses, customer account data, actual energy usage or invoices. The service returns an indicative estimate using approved public rates.
Calculator inputs and results stay in the page’s memory. They are not saved in local storage. PDFs are generated in your browser; downloading does not upload the PDF to us. You control where downloaded files are saved. Please use illustrative information and avoid entering personal or confidential data in a scenario.
Choosing to discuss a scenario carries it to the briefing page in the link. That context may be present in browser history and hosting request records. It contains the hypothetical configuration, not contact identity fields. The website prevents the link being sent to another site as a referrer and prevents shared caching of the briefing page.
Enquiries
We collect the name, email, organisation, enquiry category and message you submit. Role, phone number and deployment details are optional. We use this information to assess, route and respond to the request. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in answering business enquiries and developing relevant commercial relationships. Where you personally request steps towards a contract with us, those steps may instead be processed on the basis of contract.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary. We need sufficient contact information and context to respond. The privacy acknowledgement is not marketing consent. We do not enrol you in marketing from this form.
Recipients and delivery providers: AWS SES sends briefing requests to hello@myatmosphere.co.uk. 123 Reg forwards that address to the sales department’s mailbox.
Enquiries are held in the sales department’s mailbox. Contact the address above to ask about retention or request deletion. The website does not store enquiry messages in a database.
AWS SES sends the briefing email and a private AWS DynamoDB table holds abuse-prevention counters in London. The table stores a hash of the email address and a count, rather than the address or message. Request limits reset in ten-minute windows; expired counter records are deleted asynchronously by DynamoDB, typically within a few days. These hashed identifiers are pseudonymous personal data. Honeypot checks and server-origin validation also protect the form.
A supplementary hash of a submitter’s email supports a per-process attempt limit for ten minutes. It expires from the active process map and is not written to website logs.
Analytics, advertising and browser storage
No analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking script is included in this website. We do not use optional tracking cookies or local storage for marketing. There is no marketing consent bundled with using the site. Essential hosting or security processing is described above and in the cookie notice.
The visual effects are part of the website theme and use device display settings locally for rendering. Display settings in the footer lets you choose a static view and stop animated backgrounds and transitions. This is an appearance preference, separate from data-processing consent. We only save a first-party display preference cookie when you choose, for up to 180 days, with no identity or unique identifier. The cookie notice describes this storage and how to change it.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have conditions and exceptions.
Contact the email above to exercise a right or raise a concern. We normally respond without undue delay and within one calendar month; lawful extensions and identity checks may apply. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or your competent data protection authority. You do not have to contact us first to exercise that right.
Automated decisions and changes
The public calculator performs pricing arithmetic. It does not make decisions about your eligibility, creditworthiness or entitlement to a service. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions about people with legal or similarly significant effects.
We update this notice before materially changing how the website processes information.
